Together these 2 properties make ideal holiday homes for families or groups. The 2 houses are about 80 meters apart with easy access between the two.

Cortijo El Nogal

This is a charming Cortijo (country house) that has been recently renovated and is very well decorated. It is set in a lovely location, above Orgiva, looking out over the valley and across to the Sierra Nevada mountain range, but with good access to the town’s amenities. The view from the pool alone is wonderful as you look out over the olive and fruit trees to the hills and white villages beyond. This would be the perfect Cortijo to have a ‘get away from it all’ holiday and to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

The house has 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin), both decorated in the traditional Spanish style. There is one bathroom, which is fully fitted with shower, wash-hand basin, and WC. The open-plan kitchen lounge is very charming, with tiled floors and dark wood furniture, complete with traditional fireplace. The kitchen is fully fitted and there are lots of useful storage cupboards, as well as a washing machine in a separate utility room. There is air-conditioning fitted in the house, providing a cool retreat after sunbathing in the summer sun, and there is also a TV and CD player for relaxing in the evening.

Outside the property is as equally delightful. It is set on a terrace and the swimming pool is large, with a few trees and plants nearby adding to the tranquil atmosphere. There is also a covered patio area, providing shade, and a BBQ for cooking outside. The whole property is extremely private, set in its own grounds with olive and fruit trees, and is peaceful and quiet as it is set back from the main road (however, access is good as the road is only a couple of minutes away, and therefore the local shops and facilities of Orgiva are similarly just a short distance).

Casa Mirasol

This is a traditional property of a very high quality, with many lovely traditional Spanish features such as beamed ceilings and beautifully crafted stonework, and a similarly attractive outside space and pool. The view of the property from outside looks extremely charming with its stone arches and old-fashioned outside oven/BBQ. The whole property is idyllic, and would provide the location for a memorable holiday.

The house has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, and one twin with bunk beds) all decorated in a nice style with lovely warm terracotta/yellow walls. There is one bathroom, which is modern with white tiled walls. The kitchen and lounge are open-plan, with the lounge being of a large size with a lovely traditional stone fireplace, a tiled floor and beautiful beamed ceilings, with attractive iron chandelier-type hanging lights. It is decorated in a lovely terracotta/yellow colour and has a very cosy and welcoming feel to it. The kitchen is fully fitted, and there is a washing machine located in the utility room nearby. Although the house has a very charming style there are modern facilities included such as air-conditioning, a TV, and a CD player.

The outside space is lovely as well, with a delightful and inviting swimming pool, (measuring 7 x 4m) surrounded by a lawn. There are several trees on the border of the property, which provide privacy and ensure the space is not overlooked. These don’t impede on the views of the surrounding mountain scenery however, which is stunning. There is also a covered patio area and BBQ ensuring the outside space can be used late into the evening, and lots of garden furniture for sunbathing and to enjoy the mountain views. The house is very private; it is fully enclosed with its own private drive and gates, and its location ensures peace and quiet as it is set a distance away from a main road. The amenities of the town aren’t far away however, as Orgiva is only a distance of about 5 minutes by car, so this property is very conveniently located.
