Cortijos Mati + Antonio - Orgiva, Spain - Property ref 6

Together these two properties make ideal holiday homes for large families or groups.

These lovely Spanish owned country houses have fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. They are set in their own private grounds with olive trees, and some fruit trees, Cortijo Mati has an enclosed swimming pool.
The houses are very private, and only five minutes from Orgiva.
(There is easy access between the two houses)

Cortijo Antonio

This select property is set in stunning mountain scenery and surrounded by a lovely grove of olive trees. The pool is one of the highlights of the property as it is very well designed and from it you can look out over the mountains. The views can be appreciated from the shaded patio area that runs along the front of the house as well, so this would be a lovely house from which to enjoy the natural and peaceful surroundings and have a truly relaxing holiday.

The house has two bedrooms, (one double and one twin), and these are both comfortable and relaxing rooms. There are also two bathrooms, one being a full bathroom and the other a washroom, so there are plenty of facilities for a family. The kitchen is nicely designed with tiled walls and lots of dark wood cupboards, and it opens up into the lounge area. This is a lovely room, with a fireplace, TV and CD player, and with windows looking out into the gardens. There is also a separate utility room in the house, with a washing machine, and there is also air-conditioning here too.

The outside space is also as thoughtfully designed as the inside. All along the front of the house is a long covered patio area, which is a delightful place to sit and look at the gardens and the mountain views beyond. This area almost becomes an extra living room to the house itself, as you could eat your meals out here, and sit out till late into the evening. There is also a BBQ provided, which would again enable you to spend more of your time outside in the mountain air.

The house is very private and secluded, and is totally enclosed making it a safe haven for children and a peaceful and tranquil location for adults. It is also set a convenient distance from the local town’s facilities such as shops, bars, restaurants, etc, as these are all only about a 5 minute drive away.

Cortijo Mati

This is a lovely Spanish whitewashed villa, nestling in ancient olive groves. It is a property of a very high quality, and is set in an enviable location in the foothills of the stunning Sierra Nevada mountain range. The views from here are lovely, with the Sierra Nevada behind, and the Sierra Lujar and Sierra Contravesia to the front.

The house has 3 bedrooms, (one double with en-suite and 2 twin rooms), and each room is nicely decorated with lovely finishing touches, and with views out to either the olive grove or the pool. There are 2 bathrooms, one being the en-suite, so this house can cater very well for a larger group or family. The open-plan kitchen lounge is a very nice area; the large lounge having comfortable relaxing furniture, old-fashioned chandelier type lighting, a cosy fireplace perfect for autumn or winter holidays, and a traditional tiled floor. There is also a TV, and CD player providing entertainment. The kitchen is fully fitted and very well designed. A utility room is also a useful addition, with a washing machine.

Outside the house there is a large pool area with plenty of seating space to watch the children play, to sunbathe, or to enjoy the stunning mountain views. There is also a covered area providing shade from the sun, with garden furniture and a BBQ. This property is very private and peaceful and feels like a real retreat, however the local shops and cafes etc are only about 5-10mins drive away so all the needs of a larger group or a family can be easily met.
